Cookie Policy

Last updated: October 2026 • Transparent privacy by design

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your browser when visiting websites. They are commonly used to keep you signed in, remember your reading preferences (such as dark or light theme), and maintain site security.

2. How Vrishix Uses Cookies & Local Storage

Vrishix believes in zero invasive tracking. We do not use third-party marketing cookies, advertising fingerprinting scripts, or cross-site tracking beacons. The only storage mechanisms used on Vrishix are:

  • Authentication & Session Cookies: Secure, HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax tokens that authenticate you if you log into the author or subscriber area.
  • Theme Preference (Local Storage): We store your choice of dark or light mode in browser localStorage so your eyes aren't blinded across page reloads.
  • Draft Auto-Save: When drafting comments or articles in the author workspace, your browser temporarily caches draft text in local storage to prevent accidental data loss.

3. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You can modify your browser settings to decline or clear cookies at any time. If you disable cookies entirely, public articles remain 100% accessible and readable without restrictions, though authenticated author features will not be able to preserve your session.

4. Questions & Inquiries

If you have questions regarding this Cookie Policy or our data governance, please refer to our Privacy Policy or contact us directly at parthiv@vrishix.in.
